Craig, words were your gift and you shared them freely and lovingly. Your departure left a huge hole in my universe and your influence on me during our wonder years shaped who I have become. I thank you and hope you are enjoying your journey through the universe!
I loved Craig's free spirit and poetry. I remember him bouncing down the halls ofnthe first day of school senior year, refusing to let the institutional setting dampen his spirits (although later I think the principal cut a deal with him that let him graduate early if he would stay off campus.) I always loved a poem of his title "gimme six" which was about fingers on his hand reaching out to engage witt the world. I remember learning he had died in Yosemite when I was walking out of Los Altos Library and saw an article in the Town Crier. It changed my world. I would have loved to see what he would have made of his life. A truly magical soul.

Craig was a great guy, and he was really smart. He will be missed.
